Visit w/ Walt & Katie

Tonight the Rigbys were nice enough to let us invade their home one more time! This go-around all the locals were able to make it (except Joe who had to work-we "missed" ya Yoey!). It was wonderful to all be together and spend some more time with Walt, Katie and the girls. Especially since we leave for Dallas early Wed morning and probably won't be able to see all of them before they have to go home!

Xmas Day

About 12:30 on Christmas Day, we headed over to Tonya & Todd's to have dinner and visit with them and Mom/Dad Greene. Although they may not invite us back since we forget the one thing they specifically asked for, a chocolate pie! We brought some other goodies but totally forgot the pie! Whoops! We'll have to bring it to the next get together. But despite no choc pie, it was a great dinner with lots of yummy desserts. After eating, we headed downstairs to play some Uno Attack, watch a Xmas movie and visit. Mom and Dad weren't able to stay too long, so it was just us and the Rigbys for awhile. At least until we were just chatting and all of a sudden heard the doorbell. At first we thought it was the kids messing around upstairs. Then we heard them holler "Uncle Walter's here!" We were all slightly confused by this seeing as they live in Colorado!! But lo & behold we heard Walt's voice. So we all ran up there and sure enough, Walt, Katie, Emma and Bella had made the trek to Spokane, completely surprising us!! They were in town to do some work on Katie's mom's house so they decided to surprise us. What a wonderful Xmas gift! It was so awesome to be able to visit with them and spend some time with the girls. It's amazing how much they've grown in the short time since we last saw them. We hope to get together again later before they have to go back. Thanks so much Walt & Katie!!!

Xmas Morning

Thank goodness we have a son who doesn't wake up at the crack of Dawn on Christmas mornings! I hear horror stories of kids getting up at 4:00 and I'm not sure what I'd do if Austin did that! Probably sleep through the whole thing!!! So luckily our Xmas morning began at 8:00! We had a wonderful start to our day, opening presents, making cinnamon rolls, watching the new Night at the Museum movie that A got, and spending some time together. Trav woke up not feeling so hot, but fortunately it passed, so off we went to the Rigby's later on in the afternoon!
