Fort Spokane Campout

Camping season is here!! Yeah!! This past weekend we headed up to Fort Spokane on Lake Roosevelt for our first campout of the year. Our friends, the Hinkeys, invited us to help celebrate their anniversary, so of course we had to say yes! We had an absolute blast, we didn't want to come home! Thanks guys for all the fun and your generosity. We love ya!

How many guys does it take to start a fire??? j/k They were showing A how to start it with his flint!
This is Gene's suggestion!

Visit to Clarkston

Today we drove down to Clarkston, WA and thank goodness the weather was beautiful there, not cold & rainy like Spokane! We'll be going there in June for one of Trav's niece's graduation and we'll be bringing the boat. We wanted to check out the local launches and also get a better feel for the town so we wouldn't be getting lost next time! Of course, we wanted to visit a little with Trav's sister, Nadine, her other half, Ron, and Danielle while we were there too. Luckily it worked out that we could spend some time with all of them (although we missed ya Houston!). While hanging out with Nadine & Ron, we were able to check out his latest derby truck, which was pretty cool. Austin even got to sit inside. All in all, it was a quick trip, but very fun and we thank you guys for spending the time with us. We love ya and look forward to June!
