Westport

A few minutes' drive from Grayland, there's a cute little seaside town called Westport. As luck would have it, the weekend that we were there they were having their annual "Pirate Daze" festival. Of course Austin had a complete blast, but Trav and I did too! It was really something. The whole "Main Street" was blocked off and there were pirates everywhere! There were booths, contests, food, plus lots more. We actually went both Friday and Saturday since it was so much fun. On Saturday, the ship Lady Washington (aka The Interceptor from Pirates of the Caribbean!) was even moored there and we got to go on board for a tour! You'll also notice in one of the pix a cute little puppy. Some people had a box of Lab/Shar Pei mix puppies they were giving away and Cynthia fell in love! So Rocky (Austin named him!) came home with us. By us, I mean the Tuckers! This also happened to be the town that the Salmon charter that Trav went on is located in. Pix of that are next!
