Pie in the Face

Every month, Austin's school has a drawing out of all the kids who have turned in at least 10 Box Tops. Two kids are picked each time (K, 1, 2 and 3, 4, 5). Last month, A won, but the assembly happened to fall on a day we were picking him up early for a Dr appt. So he got to have his turn this month. It just so happened Kristin (one of his buddy's little sister) won her grade's drawing as well. Austin picked his teacher, Ms Gordon, to pie, but Kristin picked her sister, Kailey's, teach from last year, Ms Lybbert (A had her as well). Of course, this led to a little animosity! Oh yeah, Austin was also honored at the assembly for being a "Star Student" and for the "Wall of Honor" award.

Wow. I think our kiddos got "pied" a little more than the teachers! Oh well, I'm sure they totally deserved it! lol
