Spokane Interstate Fair
Although I've now lived in Spokane for 20 years, every year I still have to go to the Fair! It's become a tradition now for us to go, we all love it so much. Today happened to be the perfect day to go also, it was GORGEOUS out. Not too hot, not too cold. We ending up being there for over 7 hours, so we're pretty tired, but it was so fun! And a big thank you to the Keeneys for joining us and making the day even better :)

Bye Trav!

Juline & Jason's Baby Shower
Today we attended Juline and Jason's baby shower. They're friends of ours who are expecting a baby boy in November. They're actually the fourth couple we know who are having a baby within the next couple months. Must have been some kind of outbreak in the water, say about 8 months ago! Instead of doing the traditional girls only shower, they invited everyone and had a huge BBQ. It was so great, most of the guys (and kids!) had never played any of the games before so it was so funny watching them try to figure things out. I always thought it was unfair that the dads were left out of showers, so it was pretty neat to see Jason get to open gifts and be part of it all also. Congrats you guys! And also to Tanner and Sydney, you are going to make a great big brother and sister!
Smell it Austin!
(Gotta love the candy bar/diaper game!)

Lake Roosevelt
Once again, Mother Nature had to remind me who the real woman in charge was! We had plans to go camping this weekend at Fort Spokane, but seeing as the nights are now getting down to the 40s there, we decided to just do a day trip today instead. It wasn't camping, but we still had fun! We even "borrowed" Gavin! :)
What cute boys in their matching hats
