Camping at Fort Spokane
Seeing as Travis' doctor wouldn't give him a full release to go back to work until July 6th (darn!), we decided at the last minute to take up the Hinkey's offer of camping with them at Fort Spokane over the July 4th weekend. So after getting back from Grayland on the 30th, we had two days to do laundry, clean, see Transformers 2 (it was awesome!) with Margo & Joe.... and then leave again on the 3rd! This was our first time camping with the new boat and we don't know how we ever did it any other way! We had so much fun. Although, we were only there three days, it was great. Austin went tubing (as well as Malizza and her friend Maddie), we beached the boats and did some playing in the water, fished, and of course watched the fireworks Saturday night. That was also new for us, watching them from the boat on the water. It was so much better than sitting on a beach or grass somewhere! Thanks again Gene & Mandy for another fun camping trip! It is nice to be home though....

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun on all your trips, so gald Travis was heathly enough to go. Great pictures Ginger, of course.
ReplyDeleteYeah for fireworks on Roosevelt! Are those the Grand Coulee Dam fireworks? We were there too, floating out in the water. (makes it tough to get pictures though when the boat is moving you!)
