Skyfest 2010

Oh, it's so nice to have Skyfest back! It was a sad year last year when they decided not to have one. But now it's back! And what a great summer day to have it. Almost too hot. I have to admit we were "melting" a little bit on that tarmac! But it sure didn't ruin our fun. Ever since I was a young buck, I've LOVED planes, the look of them, the sound, everything. For a while as a child, I even wanted to be a pilot (of course this was about when TopGun came out!). Seeing as my dad was in the Navy, I got to be around them a lot also. Austin seems to really enjoy them as well (though he could do with less noise!). It was a super day, a bit longer than we originally planned however! It took us 2 hours to get out due to all the people and a medical emergency (not ours luckily!). But we finally made it home and have lots of great memories of the day. Thanks to the Keeneys for joining us for a bit, sorry the boys weren't having much fun... next year!
The Stealth Bomber was doing fly-bys when we were in traffic on Hwy 2
